I spend a lot of time looking at the Avatar characters for my day job...and still love them enough to want to draw them in my free time!
Toph is obviously one of the bestest characters in cartoons EVER! I thought it would be fun to draw her picking up rocks with her feet the way my family often does with remote controls and socks on the floor. This drawing was inked with a brush and india ink, scanned and colored in Photoshop. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. The characters are so much fun done in your style. Toph's expression there is so "don't mess with me", I love it.
